Elangomat and Nimat

The Elangomat & Nimat programs were adopted by Timmeu Lodge in the 1990's as a program to give new inductees a better understanding of the Order of the Arrow. An Elangomat, meaning "friend" in the Lenni Lenape language, is an Arrowman who assists candidates on their Ordeal and answers questions that may arise. A Nimat, meaning brother, is an Arrowman who helps candidates acheive Brotherhood membership.

If an Arrowman is interested in becoming an Elangomat or Nimat, contact the Inductions Chairman, who will provide more information.
Members who wish to become Elangomats or Nimats should hold Brotherhood membership.
