The 2010 winter banquet was a quite the banquet to remember, with two impressive speakers that truly brought out the meaning of scouting, and how scouting influences a young scouts life. The first speaker of the night was Troy Henkels. Troy told story’s along with a slideshow of his adventures throughout his exciting life. He spoke of Camp C.S. Klaus and what it was like when he worked there, he also talked about how scouting helped spark his interest in exploring the world and reaching new heights.

The second speaker of the night was the newly elected Central Region Chief, Richie Ferolo. Richie encouraged younger and older scouts alike to get involved with all that the boy scouts has to offer. He spoke of his experiences telling scouts how he had gotten involved with the order of the arrow, taken on new responsibilities, and reached the point where he is today.

Timmeu Lodge also handed out its annual awards for the year including elangomat and nimat awards, ordeal and brotherhood certificates, and several NOAC awards. Some of the more prestigious awards given out include; Founders Award- given to Cory Muntz and John Sewell, Vigil honor- given to Tyler Franke, Kurt Lange, Cory Weinschenk, Marty Wessels, and John Seier. Arrowman of the year was given to Sam Feldmann.

As a special thanks to Troy Henkels for speaking. The Timmeu Lodge Executive Committee presented Troy with a large Norman Rockwell, Friends of Scouting Painting along with the matching council patch.
